My Top 3 Tips to Reduce Wedding Day Stress

Wait. What?

Yes, I know. People don’t really talk about this. But… I’ve heard rumor that sometimes, wedding days can be stressful.

Yikes. That’s not what I want for you! I want you to be able to enjoy your wedding day. : )

I want you to savor the first look, remember your bridal party, the buzz around them and the absolute joy walking down the aisle. Your wedding day is going to go by SO FAST! I want you to soak it all in so here are my top 3 tips for reducing stress the day of your wedding.

#1. Designate a point person. You’ve spent months planning your wedding. Most likely, everything will run on schedule, the decor will be perfect and the dance floor will be packed all night. However, bring peace of mind to a new level by designating a point person. If anything unexpected happens, this person can take care of it or bring it to your attention if needed.

Often times this point person is a wedding planner/coordinator, but if you don’t have one, you can ask an extended family member, close friend inside or outside the bridal party. I would guess they’ll feel honored you trust them enough to ask and be excited to help. : )

#2. Make sure all your key people have the key details. Key people would be immediate family members, bridal party and your vendors. Key details would be the wedding timeline, addresses and important contact numbers. By making sure everyone has these details, you can relax on your wedding day. Everyone knows the plan. You’ve done the hard work. Enjoy the day!

If you’re a #WatsonBride step is easy! A few months before your wedding, I’ll send out a final wedding questionnaire which will help us finalize your wedding timeline. After our final follow up call, you’ll get a link to the timeline which includes all the key addresses and important phone numbers. #Winning!

#3. Focus on your man. Something unexpected may happen, but ultimately, your wedding is all about the two of you. It’s about the commitment that you’re making to each other and it’s a celebration with your closest friends and family. Make sure to take time throughout the day to soak it all in together. : )

I hope you’ve found these quick 3 tips helpful. : ) Focus on each other. Soak in the day and enjoy the celebration. I’m cheering you on!

Till Next Time Friends,
